BNN membership
For more than 30 years, we have been a member of the Bundesverband Naturkost Naturwaren e.V. (BNN) and have been actively helping to shape the vision of an ecologically responsible economy. In the summer of 2023, Byodo Managing Director Stephanie Moßbacher was elected to the BNN e.V. Board of Trustees for the first time and supports the work of the Executive Board. At the same time, she also became a member of BNN.Next, where she represents, in particular, the interests of the next generation in the organic industry.

AöL membership
The Association of Organic Food Producers (AöL) works to promote organic and people-centered food and fosters a sustainable food culture. Through collective action, its members are driving the transition toward an economic system that serves both current and future generations. As a member of the AöL, we are committed to advancing European organic legislation and fostering a values-based approach to food. Furthermore, the quality of organic food production processes is a key component of the association’s work.
BUND membership
The awareness that we share responsibility for nature and our planet has been with us since the company was founded. Through our corporate membership in BUND, we support all nature conservation efforts in our home region.
As one of Germany’s largest environmental organizations, the German Association for the Environment and Nature Conservation (BUND) steps in where an individual or a single company can no longer make a difference. Like us, BUND advocates for organic farming and healthy food, and is committed to climate protection and the expansion of renewable energy. It takes a holistic approach to nature conservation and species protection and promotes the preservation of habitats for endangered animals and plants.

Since 2018, GLS Beteiligungs AG has been a co-shareholder in Byodo alongside the owner family. GLS Beteiligungs AG is committed to supporting responsible companies and meaningful projects in the renewable energy, organic food, and responsible business sectors. It supports Byodo with a tailored strategy, thereby creating a strong foundation for the company’s competitive success.
