Highest standards for highest quality

Our quality and product management system is based on the requirements of the International Featured Standard (IFS). We are proud to have achieved the strict requirements of the GFSI-recognized IFS Broker and IFS Logistics standards with the “Higher Level” rating.

Due to our diverse divisions, we are certified in accordance with both the IFS Broker Standard for trading activities and the IFS Logistics Standard for warehouse management. These certificates are proof of our high level of customer orientation and product safety for existing customers and new prospects, both regionally and internationally.

The annual objective audit of our quality management is carried out by qualified auditors from an independent accredited certification body. An IFS audit checks whether the retailer has implemented suitable processes to ensure that the suppliers’ products comply with legal regulations and the customers’ product specifications. Our certificates prove that our product safety procedures and measures are regularly checked.

As a natural food company, Byodo is of course still subject to the control procedure of the EU Organic Regulation (responsible Byodo control body: QC&I). We have also been working closely with growers’ associations since the company was founded.

  ensures compliance with legal and customer-specific requirements, the control of suppliers and service providers and the traceability of traded products.

  IFS Logistics Standard
  assesses quality and safety in logistics activities, including transportation, storage, distribution, loading and unloading and more.

Joint action for the highest standards

Joint action characterizes our lived product safety culture. Regular communication, training, metrics and performance measurement, teamwork and personal accountability are key to promoting our product safety culture. This common framework ensures product quality, product safety and product legality.

Within our quality management, we particularly emphasize team cohesion and responsibilities in all departments. This is crucial in order to meet our high quality requirements and achieve the defined targets.

To ensure a high standard of knowledge for all employees, we organize training courses and share our knowledge. Employee surveys and information on product safety are taken seriously and all employees are involved in quality efforts. We are constantly developing our product protection concept through regular reviews.
