Second managing director at the side of founder’s daughter Stephanie Moßbacher

 

Mühldorf – 19.03.2024: Since 01.03.2024, the organic company Byodo Naturkost has been managed by a dual leadership team. The 43-year-old business administration graduate Bernd Hochstädter joins the Byodo management team alongside the founder’s daughter Stephanie Moßbacher. With the new management board – consisting of the management and an authorized signatory – the company is positioning itself strongly for the future in order to continue to operate effectively on the market.

 

Byodo Naturkost has gained an experienced manager with special expertise in sales in Bernd Hochstädter, who holds a degree in business administration. Since March 2024, he has therefore been responsible for Sales & Purchasing / Logistics as the second Managing Director. Bernd Hochstädter’s professional career has taken him from a commercial apprenticeship to an MBA degree and finally to Vice President of an internationally operating sustainable company.

 

“The organic growth market has immense potential for the future and I am delighted to now be able to play an active role in shaping it,” says the experienced business economist. Sustainability is one of his favorite topics, to which he also attributes a high level of innovation. “I am delighted to now be able to combine sustainability and my hobby of healthy and enjoyable eating professionally”. Despite working internationally in larger companies, he describes his working style as pragmatic and “hands-on”.

 

Stephanie Moßbacher, previously the sole managing director, is looking forward to working together. “After four years as sole Managing Director, I can now concentrate more on expanding the Byodo brand and look forward to working with Bernd Hochstädter,” explains the Managing Partner. In future, Stephanie Moßbacher will be responsible for quality and sustainability management as well as her favorite topics of marketing and product management in addition to the commercial area. Working in partnership with customers, suppliers and the team is at the heart of the Byodo philosophy. “As the daughter of the founder, I see it as my task to transform this message into the future and to constantly convey the meaningfulness of what we do at Byodo,” explains the 34-year-old.

 

Christian Bäumer has been Commercial Director at Byodo Naturkost since February 2023 and is responsible for Finance, Controlling, Human Resources, Warehouse, IT and Administration. He has now been appointed as an authorized signatory and thus completes the new management team. “I am grateful for the trust placed in me and look forward to taking on even more responsibility in the company and supporting Byodo in its further growth,” assures Christian Bäumer.

 

The new management committee agrees that speed and the courage to shape the future have absolute priority when it comes to current and future challenges. “We want to shape the market successfully and sustainably with a clear pinch of Byodo purpose,” the three decision-makers assure us.
