Fourfold for a good cause
Byodo Naturkost GmbH supports people in need in the region
Mühldorf – March 2025: Byodo Naturkost, operator of the Feinsinn organic food store, is delighted with the success of its Christmas fundraising campaigns. This year, thanks to the generous support of customers and the company’s top-up, numerous donations were once again collected for people in need in the region.
Donation campaign 1: Support for the Mühldorf food bank
The Feinsinn organic food store ran a donation campaign, giving customers the opportunity to buy pre-filled bags or select useful and durable goods such as UHT milk, pasta, rice, flour or sugar and then donate them. Byodo Naturkost topped up the donated goods again to ensure that every recipient of the food bank received a full Christmas parcel. In total, over 100 parcels were collected and handed over to the Mühldorfer Tafel on December 18. In addition, the helpers from the Mühldorfer Tafel come to Mühlbauerstraße every week throughout the year and regularly collect generous donations from the organic food store and the organic company.
Fundraising campaign 2: Deposit voucher fundraising campaign
Throughout the year, Feinsinn customers have the opportunity to donate their deposit receipts to support a good cause. The many small amounts, which barely exceed one euro, are generously rounded up to a round amount by the organic company. A total of €1,700 was raised, which will be donated to the Anna Hospizverein. The Anna Hospizverein accompanies people in the last phase of their lives and also offers bereavement counseling and palliative medical services. As not all services are covered by health insurance, the association is dependent on donations. The Anna Hospizverein in Polling was already supported with €1,500 in 2023.
Donation campaign 3: Gifts for children in need in Mühldorf
Once a year, Byodo employees come together not only to enjoy cookies and punch, but also to do something good together. This year, they once again lovingly packed Christmas presents for children from the region. Each of them brought something – coloring books, pencils, cuddly toys or games – and thus helped to make many children’s eyes shine at Christmas time. The wrapped presents were handed over to the municipality of Mühldorf, which then distributed them to children in need in the region.
Fundraising campaign 4: Donation for diversity and inclusion
“Like last year, we decided to send our Christmas cards digitally in order to protect our environment and save resources,” explains Stephanie Moßbacher, Managing Director of Byodo Naturkost.” We are donating the amount we have saved through this measure to ‘Mühldorf ist bunt’ to support the important work of this organization.”
“Mühldorf ist bunt” is an organization that works to promote diversity, tolerance and inclusion in Mühldorf. The organization offers various projects and activities to bring people of all ages and backgrounds together and promote an open and accepting society.
“We are very grateful for the generous support of our employees and customers and are delighted that we are once again able to make a significant donation to people in need in the region this year,” explains Stephanie Moßbacher, Managing Director of Byodo Naturkost. “Our goal is to walk the path together and we are proud to be able to help people in need together and fulfill our responsibility as a company in the community.”
