Feinsinn donates 1,500 euros to Anna Hospizverein

 

Mühldorf – 20.12.2023: After the outstanding success of last year’s deposit voucher donation campaign, the customers of Feinsinns – Bioladen & Genussküche in Mühldorf outdid themselves: The proceeds of 1,500 euros were recently donated to the Anna Hospizverein in Polling.

Almost 300 euros more than last year were collected in the donation box next to the deposit machine. Everything is made up of very small amounts that barely exceed one euro and which Feinsinn customers do not miss, but which can do a lot of good in total. The Feinsinn organic food store topped up the round sum of 1,500 euros out of its own pocket.

 

The Anna Hospizverein accompanies people in the last phase of their lives and also offers bereavement counseling and palliative medical services. As not all services are covered by health insurance, the association is dependent on donations. A large proportion of the costs are for staff, explains Managing Director Petra Zimmermann-Schwier: “At the end of life, you need people, not things.” She was all the more delighted to receive a cheque for 1,500 euros for the work of the hospice association, which store manager Sarah de Crignis and Feinsinn operations manager Marcus Hofer presented shortly before Christmas.

 

It goes without saying that the deposit donation campaign will continue in the new year. Feinsinn also supports other social and ecological projects such as collecting corks, which are recycled and the proceeds of which benefit a NABU crane conservation project.
