Byodo increases the amount and supports the Anna Hospice Association

 

Mühldorf – December 2025: Once again this year, the Anna Hospizverein was delighted to receive a donation of €1,600 from Feinsinn Bioladen & Genussküche. The donation comes from the deposit voucher campaigns, where customers can donate their deposits to the association. Byodo Naturkost is also topping up the amount collected, thereby demonstrating its solidarity with the hospice association’s regional commitment.

The Anna Hospizverein accompanies people in the last phase of their lives and also offers bereavement counseling and palliative medical services. As not all services are covered by health insurance, the association relies on donations. The connection between Byodo and the Anna Hospizverein is a very special one. It is characterized by mutual appreciation and a shared commitment to humanity and mindfulness. For example, the association held a “Last Aid” course for Byodo employees back in March. Around 14 colleagues took part and received basic knowledge on how to deal with the topics of dying, death and grief. The course raised awareness of the needs of people in challenging life situations – a topic that also affects everyday working life.

 

Another highlight of the joint commitment was the benefit concert by the band FRIDA. and Natural Blues, which took place at the end of October in the Feinsinn premises. In an atmospheric setting, guests, music and meaningfulness came together in a special way – an evening dedicated to Byodo indulgence for all the senses, which stands for mindfulness, joy and connection.

Its work deserves the utmost respect – and it shows how important humanity is in all phases of life,” explains Marcus Hofer, Operations Manager at Feinsinn Bioladen und Genussküche. “The fact that our customers and the entire team contribute to this together makes us particularly proud.”

 

Marcus Hofer hands over the donation check to Petra Zimmermann-Schwier, Managing Director of the Anna Hospice Association, Carola Kamhuber, Head of the hospice team, and Gabriele Tekles, volunteer hospice companion. The successful campaign will take place again in the new year and the donation box next to the deposit machine is ready and waiting.
