New premium tomato sauces with extra virgin olive oil set new standards of enjoyment in the organic specialist trade

 

Mühldorf am Inn, February 2026 – At BioFach 2026, Byodo Naturkost is presenting a new product that will make the tomato sauce market sit up and take notice: Byodo Perfetto, a premium range of three well thought-out varieties that combine homemade taste with the convenience of ready-made sauces. What makes it special: Each sauce is refined with at least 3% high-quality extra virgin olive oil – a deliberate twist that brings depth, roundness and authentic Mediterranean character to the plate.

With Byodo Perfetto, the family-run company from Bavaria is consistently expanding its Mediterranean portfolio of pasta, oils, vinegars and pesto with a product that embodies the Byodo claim: uncompromising organic quality for all the senses that creates real moments of pleasure.

 

Three varieties, one concept: pure enjoyment with extra virgin olive oil – harmoniously balanced

The range comprises three variants that perfectly meet different needs and impress with the shortest possible ingredient lists:

• Byodo Perfetto Classic: The perfectly balanced all-rounder, either classic or as a fruity-fresh base for pasta, risotto, pizza and lasagne. With 3% extra virgin olive oil and the intense taste of sun-ripened Italian tomatoes – with no added sugar.
• Byodo Perfetto Lentil Bolognese: 100% plant-based, 100% taste. Red lentils as a source of protein and fiber meet 3% extra virgin olive oil and aromatic tomatoes – a vegan Bolognese that will delight you. No added sugar.
• Byodo Perfetto Kinder: The tomato sauce for little gourmets. With 15.5% vegetables, 3.9% extra virgin olive oil and a fruity, velvety recipe with no chunks. Complies with WHO guidelines for children’s food and contains no added sugar.

With a particularly high proportion of the finest olive oil, the new Byodo Perfetto tomato sauces set a benchmark in taste – without being heavy or oily. The extra virgin olive oil underlines the harmonious character of the sauces, rounds off the fruity tomato base and at the same time gives it a fine Mediterranean note.
