Organic company honors long-standing employees

 

Mühldorf – 27.02.2024: The Mühldorf-based organic food company Byodo Naturkost paid tribute to its long-serving employees at the start of the year. 9 Byodos was honored by the shareholders Michael Moßbacher and Andrea Sonnberger for a total of 155 years of service.

 

Some of the long-standing Byodos employees have already completed their training at the organic pioneer in Mühldorf and have remained loyal to the family business ever since. Benedikt Wagner has been with the company for 10 years and now visits organic food stores as a sales representative in the field. Cristine Hoffmann looks after Byodo customers in the office and had her first day of training 15 years ago. Warehouse specialist Juliane Zens also started with her – she takes care of incoming goods in the Byodo warehouse.

 

Petra Bentlage, who has held various positions in the company and is now responsible for all personnel matters, also celebrated her 10th anniversary. Claudia Krauß was honored for 15 years. She started in sales at Byodo Naturkost, initially in the office and is now a sales representative.

 

Horst Friedrich, also a sales representative in the field, and Gabriele Zierhofer, customer service, have been part of the Byodo team for 20 years. At that time, Byodo Naturkost still had an office and warehouse in Edisonstraße in Mühldorf. The company shared the building with the organic muesli manufacturer Barnhouse, which is still based there today.

 

Two Byodo veterans were honored for 25 years of service: Gabriele Tekles, Head of Customer Service, and Johann Greff, Warehouse Manager. They complemented the Byodo Naturkost team, which was still very small at the time; “we were just a handful of people”, as founder and owner Michael Moßbacher described it at the award ceremony. Incidentally, the first Byodo website also went online in the same year. The company itself was founded 39 years ago.

 

Partner and Byodo founder Michael Moßbacher, partner Andrea Sonnberger and managing director Stephanie Moßbacher thanked the jubilarians with flowers, a gift voucher and a warm hug. This long-standing affiliation with the company shows once again that the organic company has not only been on the “common path” – true to its company name – but has also always been on the right path with its value orientation in its daily activities.
