Successful start to funding
Byodo draws a positive interim balance
Mühldorf – 19.09.2023: The new BIObegeistert promotion from the Mühldorf-based family business Byodo Naturkost has got off to a successful start. The first projects start with the new school year. The application deadlines for 2024 have already been set.
In May of this year, Byodo rolled out its new BIObegeistert promotion. Under the motto “Together for a sustainable future”, projects relating to sustainable nutrition are supported financially. After the first application deadline at the end of June, the organic company has drawn a positive interim balance.
“Although the funding was still very new, a number of schools and kindergartens have already applied with great ideas,” says Sabine Gillhuber, who is responsible for the project. “We are delighted to see how committed the teachers and educators are to teaching the children about sustainable nutrition.”
Most of the projects start with the new school and daycare year. Byodo subsidizes, among other things, a cooking course with organic food at the Grundschule Nord elementary school in Traunreut, a guided tour of a Demeter farm at the Don Bosco kindergarten in Neuötting and the continuation of the school garden and processing of the harvest at the Teisinger elementary school.
The next deadline for applications is 30 November and the organic company from Mühldorf am Inn is encouraging all schools, daycare centres, clubs and other voluntary organizations to apply with suitable projects.
