Final spurt for applications for up to 5,000 euros in funding for exciting organic projects!

Mühldorf – September 2025: The final weeks of the application phase for the nationwide Byodo Naturkost GmbH BIObegeistert sponsorship have begun. Daycare centers, schools, universities and associations have until October 17, 2025 to submit their creative and sustainable organic projects and secure one of the coveted sponsorship prizes with a total value of 10,000 euros.

The funding is aimed at institutions that want to get children and young people interested in projects relating to organic food and organic farming. “At Byodo, we are committed to going above and beyond the standard – not only in terms of the quality of our organic products, but also with projects such as the BIObegeistert promotion. In this way, we can start as early as possible and bring people into contact with organic at a young age in a playful way. With our funding, we want to provide financial support where state funding is not sufficient so that such projects can make the leap from idea to implementation,” says Byodo Managing Director Stephanie Moßbacher. Byodo is awarding a total of 10,000 euros in prize money: First place receives 5,000 euros, second 3,000 euros and third 2,000 euros.

The variety of applications so far shows how creatively and practically the topic of organic is implemented. In 2024, for example, two schools impressed with projects involving their school chickens and another school enabled sustainable learning in nature under the motto “Theo’s meadow”.

 

Application possible until 17.10.2025

Interested organizations can still submit their application documents via byodo.de/nachhaltigkeit/soziales-engagement/biobegeistert/. In addition to the online application form, organizations can also submit a short application video to present their projects in the best possible way for the public vote.

After the deadline, the Byodo team will make a shortlist before the projects enter the public voting phase. The winners will be announced by the end of the year.
