Did you know...?

  • When can a noodle be called "al dente"? If you can still notice a tiny white spot in the centre, after biting the noodle. It will only be seconds till the pasta is finished. This is usually shortly before cooking time ends.
  • Athletes, too, consider noodles an inevitable part of their basic nutrition. Specially for endurance athletes complex carbohydrates are very important as the gaining of energy from carbohydrate reserves happens faster than from fat reserves.
