Ever since our foundation, we at Byodo have been trying to reduce the environmental impact of our economic activity. Minimising carbon dioxide plays a crucial role in this. When planning business trips we opt to take the train and try to avoid unnecessary journeys by car or by plane.

We compensate for the CO2 emitted by our printers – as well as for every kilometre we travel in our company cars – by making a donation to climate protection projects run by the "my climate" organisation. In addition, we are members of the German Association for the Environment and Nature Conservation (BUND).

Trees are the perfect solution for binding CO2, while also producing oxygen and additionally binding air-bound dust with their foliage. We were therefore enthusiastic about sponsoring 100 old varieties of fruit trees for the newly created allotments of the Mühldorf Horticultural Association. Many plum, cherry, apple and pear trees have been planted and the entire Byodo team lent a hand! In the meantime the trees have grown into a colourful, ecological meadow orchard which delights both the allotment tenants and especially insects and birds. In addition, the numerous fruit trees and bushes on our company premises contribute to balancing CO2.
