A teaspoon mild and nutty linseed oil a day keeps the doctor away, but why? Linseed oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids - these polyunsaturated acids support our immune system and protect our skin from harmful substance.

Byodo organic Linseed oil, cold pressed is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. Two of these are particularly important: Linoleic acids (omega-6) and linolenic acids (omega-3). The body can either not produce these fatty acids or at least not enough of them. This means they have to be given to the body in an appropriate diet. 

One teaspoon of linseed oil per day is enough to enrich your diet and therefore serve as your personal precautionary health protection. 

We recommend: Linseed oil tastes great in your breakfast fruit-quark, in herb quark with potatoes, in delicious beetroot-risotto and simply on its own.

    Information on production

    All organic Byodo oils, frying oils included, are gained through a cold-pressing process, naturally won from the first pressing. These authentic, virgin premium oils are simply filtered after the cold pressing process. The frying oils and mild premium oils are washed in water steam (=deodorized). Packaged in cans, the oil retains its exquisite taste and essential ingredients.

    VANILLA PARFAIT WITH LINSEED OIL

    Take ...

    • 25 ml Byodo Linseed Oil
    • 3 egg yolks
    • 3 egg whites, whipped
    • 60 g sugar
    • 1 small pinch of Byodo Atlantic Sea Salt
    • 1 vanilla pod
    • 125 g whipped cream

    Preparation:

    Whip the sugar, egg yolks, Byodo Atlantic Sea Salt and vanilla pod in a hot water bath until you get a creamy mixture. Slowly cool down the mixture in a cold water bath while whipping it slowly. Add the Byodo Linseed Oil and gently fold in the whipped cream and whipped egg whites. Fill into dessert cups and freeze.
