Organic-lunch-box initiative

To support a healthy diet for pupils right from the start, that´s the aim of the Byodo-lunch box project, an initiative, which has very successfully taken place nationwide since 2002. In numerous projects children starting school receive a special, reuseable lunch box - filled with delicious organic snacks.

This nationwide campaign supports healthy child nutrition and food supply for schools. In many smaller and lager groups more than 150.000 organic lunch boxes are packed for the young ones.

Byodo has been offering highest quality fine organic food for more than 25 years. Delicious organically-grown food is our passion - also for kids. That is why we sponsor and initiate the Organic Lunch Box campaign in the boroughs of Altötting and Mühldorf and, together with many teachers, pack more than 2000 organic lunch boxes every year.

Organic Bees for Nature and Region

Organic honey from locals - for locals! This is the motto which stands for the Organic-Bee-Project, which was brought to life in 2011. Different local beekeeper associations help train new beekeepers in organic apiculture with the help of three bee colonies in our company gardens. Our shared aim is to help organic beekeeping to be seen as natural in order not to satisfy the local honey demand with foreign organic honey, but with honey from regional beekeepers.

Latest news on the project and detailed information on organic beekeeping can be found on the project-blog: www.honig-ok.de
