ORGANIC FINE FOODS – OUR PASSION

It is always a matter of personal motivation that makes people change things.

This can also be said for Byodo. As a child of the late 60ies I was, like many of my generation, looking for a meaningful task that included both self-responsibility and collective management.

FIRST STEPS


I founded the firm Byodo in 1985 with a minimal starting capital, but a huge amount of night and day effort. My constant companion was uncertainty whether or not this new path would provide for my family. Despite many ups and downs the belief in the idea to at least make a small contribution towards saving our planet with organic products was what kept my motor running. It was always important to me to combine both terms "organic" and "indulgence". 

THE SHARED PATH


I was encouraged in my view that only togetherness could change things, when Andrea Sonnberger joined the firm in the early 90ies. We were both of the same opinion that organic food simply tastes better and that this would be the best argument for winning over gourmets for our products. Taste is the only way of convincing people of our organic idea on a long-term basis.

Since then we have been working together with our strongly committed team to successfully live our conviction based on partnership together with our customers and suppliers - at training courses, visitations and daily life events.

Our animating spirit is still based on the Japanese expression "Byodo" - the shared path.

PRODUCT QUALITY IS QUALITY OF LIFE


On the basis of this idea we have meanwhile developed a variety of fine foods. We successfully market Byodo products in trustful cooperation with our partners of the organic food trade. Our motto is: "Only the best for our customer!"

Gratefully we can look back on the past years and be happy about the fact that we are still healthy and motivated to offer organic fine food.

The quest for highest indulgence, which unites us with our long-time partners, will also be the driving element for the time that lies ahead of us.
